About the role

Looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to join the team at Sunshine Collectables in Maribyrnong, VIC. In this casual role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting with all aspects of the retail operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and assisting customers with product inquiries and purchases
  2. Maintaining a tidy and well-stocked sales floor
  3. Processing sales transactions and handling cash and card payments
  4. Restocking and organising merchandise
  5. Providing valuable feedback on customer trends and needs
  6. Supporting the team in completing daily tasks and projects as required

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a customer-facing retail role, preferably in a specialty store or collectables shop
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, helpful attitude
  3. Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
  4. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  5. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
  6. Passion for the retail industry and an interest in collectables
