GLOBAL DTH is on the hunt for a local Yard Person to join our small team in Pinjarra.

Global DTH specialise in waterwell products and engineered solutions for the drilling industry. We supply stainless steel well screens, steel bore casing, PVC and GRE pipes, along with other complementary products.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Yard Person, reporting to the Ops Manager. This position will primarily be responsible for maintaining the 2 Pinjarra yards, mobile equipment maintenance, picking/packing materials, supporting Operations with internal movements within the yard, stocktakes, Perth Metro site deliveries and loading/unloading trucks.

MANDATORY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • MR licence - this is an absolute must-have
  • Forklift licence (2+ years experience)
  • Able to work unsupervised and maintain a tidy workplace
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal communication skills

DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • Written communication skills
  • Experience in the drilling, irrigation or pipe industry highly regarded
  • Experience operating mobile equipment
  • Load restraint certificate
