The Role:

We are currently seeking a dedicated  full time day shift Cleaning Supervisor. This role is based at our site: University of sunshine Coast: Sippy Down Campus located in Sippy downs, 4556

Join us in making a positive impact on educational facilities and contributing to the well-being of students and staff alike.

If you have commercial or retail cleaning experience and would like to be part of a team that makes a difference, then we would love to hear from you.

Please note this position is a working supervisor role.

Work hours are as follows: Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm.

Role Requirements:

  • Be well-presented, proactive and able to work well on your own
  • Prior leadership experience supervising a team
  • Prior commercial or retail cleaning experience preferred (on-the-job training will be provided)
  • An understanding of chemical handling procedures and proper cleaning techniques (or willingness to learn)
  • Cleaning Machinery experience (scrubbing, buffing, car park sweeper)
  • Good knowledge of and a commitment to safe working practices
  • Be physically fit to carry out standard duties and ability to walk for lengthy periods
  • Good listening skills and the ability to follow instructions
  • Be able to communicate in verbal and written English
  • Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays
  • Must have valid work rights in Australia
