Fantastic permanent opportunity We're looking for an experienced
Technical Quality Specialist
with a strong understanding of
stored grain management
to lead science-based technical projects. In this role, you'll evaluate and enhance existing processes, improve product performance and consistency, and identify solutions to systemic issues — all while supporting their successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Project Leadership: Manage Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives using project management tools to deliver measurable improvements.
- Technical Expertise & Application: Collaborate with external experts and stakeholders to translate research—particularly in stored grain pest management - into practical solutions across the global supply chain. Apply technical knowledge to develop and implement strategies that mitigate pest risks in post-harvest storage environments, ensuring product integrity and compliance with quality standards.
- CI Culture & Capability Building: Support the development of a CI framework and deliver targeted training to build team capability and embed a continuous improvement mindset.
- Process Analysis and Improvement: provide expert advice on integrated pest management activities and evaluate current IPM practices and business processes across grain storage operations.
- New / Developing Technology Trials & Evaluation: Design and conduct trials of emerging pest and microbial control technologies and methodologies. You will collect, analyse, and interpret trial data, and prepare technical reports and recommendations for adoption.
About You

You Will Have
- Degree in Food Science, Applied Science or related discipline.
- Good understanding of stored grain pest management as applied to manufacturing environments is desirable.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in development, coordination, and implementation of programs into manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of operations management and continuous improvement methodology.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry standards related to pest control.
- Experience with digital tools and technologies for pest monitoring and control.
