Disability Support Workers

Strong communication is essential for success in this role. You must have proficient written and verbal English skills to ensure clear, accurate, and compassionate communication with clients, families, and team members.

Our ideal candidate will have:

· Cert 3 or 4 in Disability Services, Individual Support, Home, and Community Care

· Previous employment experience in the health/disability, and community services sector.

· Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to delivering individualized care.

· Flexible availability & a long-term commitment to InCare Health Services

The role may involve:

· Assistance with community access and recreational activities

· Personal care (showering, toileting, and hygiene assistance)

· Manual handling and the use of wheelchairs & hoists

· Administering Medication

· Light duties such as meal preparation and cleaning

· Behavioural and Mental Health Support

· Active Nights / Sleep Overs

· High-Level / High Intensity daily and personal needs

· Flexible working hours (including AM, PM and Weekends, including Public Holidays)

· Available daily shifts: 8-hour or 12-hour options

· Daily ADL shifts: 2-hour blocks scheduled for Morning, Afternoon, and Evening

Essential criteria:

  • Car and valid Australian driver's license
  • Vehicle insurance policy and proof of car registration
  • Well spoken and written English
  • Proof of right to work within Australia
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Completed NDIS Orientation Module
  • Current FA & CPR Certificates
  • Cert IV Disability or other relevant qualifications
  • Must have at least 2-year experience
  • Available to work 7 days per week
  • ABN Holders Only Apply.
