An opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced cook to join our childcare centre

The position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Writing and providing high-quality menus that accommodate all food allergies.

  • Ensuring the kitchen complies with regulations and requirements at all times.

  • Budgeting, ordering, and planning all food.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with centre staff.

  • Collaborating with families and children to meet their individual needs as they arise.

To be successful in your application, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Preferred: Cookery qualifications and a Food Safety Certificate or a willingness to obtain one.

  • Current Working with Children Check.

  • Ability to provide a high-quality menu that addresses all allergies and individual family needs.

  • Professional attitude.

  • Strong understanding of budgeting, ordering, and menu development.

  • Experience working collaboratively with others.
