About the role

Due to recent growth within our organisation, a fantastic career opportunity has become available for Commercial Electricians based in Brisbane.

The role is responsible for performing tasks allocated to the construction team and ensuring the completion of activities in accordance with project specifications, plans, relevant standards and to a high standard of workmanship.

In consultation with the Project Foreman, you will plan, set priorities and allocate material and resources to ensure tasks are completed within budget, in a timely and safe manner to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Safety first attitude
  • Able to work unsupervised and in small teams
  • Minimum 2 years experience within the Commercial Electrical Industry
  • Understanding of relevant Australian Standards (eg AS/NZS 3000, 2293, 3017, 3012, 3760, 4836)
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Ability to contribute to Safe Work Method Statements, JSEA's
  • Ability to co-operate with other team members and site contractors to meet timelines and KPI's.

To be considered for this role you will need the following competencies:

  • Qld Electrical Mechanic Licence
  • CPR/LVR
  • Construction White Card
  • Current Driver Licence with excellent driving record
  • Working Safely at Heights
  • EWP - Scissor Lift
  • Open Cablers Licence (Advantageous)
  • High Risk Work Licence - WP (Advantageous)
  • Confined Space Entry (Advantageous)
  • First Aid Certificate (Advantageous)
