High Performance Diesel are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and positive individual for a permanent full time position in our CNC workshop team. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic towards the HPD brand and be a part of our motivated team striving to push our business forward to its fullest potential. Applicants will have access to a wide variety of jobs to gain skills with on the job training. High Performance Diesel offers a modern, clean and airconditioned workshop, and a vibrant team environment, where our staff are all passionate about our products and their duties.
Applicants will be required to undertake daily duties including but not limited to:
· Machinery setup and program loading
· Part preparation
· Maintaining machinery production schedule
· Cleaning and inspecting components and parts as part of quality assurance
· Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
· Forklift operations
Applicant Requirements include:
· Full car licence with forklift license favourable
· Certificate 3 in Engineering
· Basic experience with or understanding of CAD/CAM
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to interpret and understand plans, diagrams, drawings and specifications
· Well organised with a high attention to detail
· Passionate and strong mechanical aptitude
· Take pride in their work and have a positive and motivated attitude
· Follow instructions and directives well
· Punctual with a good attendance record
· Honest and not afraid to ask questions
· Be able to work unsupervised in a busy environment and meet deadlines
· Automotive knowledge an advantage
