About us

SLTEC Fertilizers is an Australian industry leader in manufacturing liquid Fertilizers and Bio Stimulants, with a significant market presence throughout the eastern seaboard. SLTEC Fertilizers has seen sustained growth in recent years and is currently undergoing significant infrastructure upgrades. Additional demands, including evening shifts, are required during peak and seasonal times.

Qualifications & experience

  • Reliable and punctual
  • High attention to detail
  • Reading and writing competency, with the ability to follow written procedures
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other employees
  • Strong team player
  • Unwavering commitment towards health and safety
  • Physically fit requiring prolonged standing, physical labour, and continuous movement. Capable to lift 25kg, frequently and repetitively
  • Forklift experience and licence is desirable, or a willingness to obtain
  • National Police Check is required before commencing employment. Must be able to pass National ASIO clearance. Are required to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Check and clean equipment required for manufacturing
  • Collect and prepare raw materials for blending
  • Follow small and large scale batch sheets/recipes with high attention to detail
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and inventory
  • Operate equipment and associated computers throughout the production process
  • Filling of finished products into assorted drums and 1000L IBCs as per customer orders
  • Collect and prepare finish product samples
  • Loading and unloading trucks, including forklift operations
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety and organisation of production areas
  • Assist other team members to meet production schedule deadlines and perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned
