In this role, you'll apply your social work knowledge to the coordination, delivery, and assessment of placements, ensuring they meet both academic and professional standards.
You'll oversee all aspects of the program, from securing high-quality, real-world learning opportunities for students to coordinating support for students, field educators, and host organizations throughout the entire process. You'll also work with the Work Placement Team to administer agreements and ensure compliance with Australian Social Work Education Accreditation Standards.
- Student and Staff Support: You are responsible for recruiting, training, and supporting Academic Liaison Visitors to ensure they are well-equipped for their roles. You will also design and deliver workshops to prepare and support students for their placements, fostering a positive and supportive culture across the entire program.
- Quality & Compliance: You will collaborate with academic staff to develop policies and resources, maintain comprehensive records of student performance, and assess applications for RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning). Your role also involves ensuring all academic operations align with regulatory frameworks such as AQF, AASW, ESOS, and the National Code.
- Leadership & Development: You'll attend key meetings, complete required reporting, and engage in your own scholarly practice and professional development, modeling Ikon's core values in all aspects of your work.
