Join the team at Battery World Mandurah providing exceptional customer service and expertise in battery and 12 volt solutions.

Battery World Mandurah is the home of BIG batteries to get you moving and the smaller batteries which keep you powered and charged for any adventure. We are a successful, locally owned and operated Franchise established in 2010 and operate a small team where you're not just a number but a valued staff member.

We are seekingadditional Sales Assistants for our store carrying a wide range of products in auto, camping, motorcycle, marine, solar and general-purpose.

As part of our team you will be required to obtain a Police Clearance and undertake in-store training to obtain a Battery Fitters Licence.

We have both weekend and weekday opportunities available.  Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday 8am-3pm and Sunday 9am-1pm . Your hours will be negotiable but within these parameters.

A large part of this roll involves the ability to manoeuvre heavy batteries (up to 30kg). Applicants with an existing Battery-fitting license or certificate in automotive equivalent would be ideal. However, the license certification can be completed on-site.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to identify and meet customer battery needs
  2. Selling and fitting a range of batteries for vehicles, appliances and other devices.
  3. Roadside automotive battery Installation (once qualified)
  4. Maintaining store displays and inventory to ensure product availability
  5. Assisting with stock management, cleaning and replenishment as required
  6. Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting your colleagues

What we're looking for

  1. Passion for exceptional customer service and a desire to help customers
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Problem-solving abilities and a quick learner
  4. Previous retail or customer service experience, ideally in the automotive or battery industry
  5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  6. Basic knowledge of hand tools
