Your Role
As an Industrial Electrician at AMG, you will be an integral part of project delivery, maintenance, and site commissioning across a range of industrial and renewable projects. Your expertise will help keep the wheels of industry turning and support the state's energy transformation.
In this role, you will:
-
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults in industrial automation, power, and control systems.
-
Execute electrical installations, upgrades, and commissioning for industrial and renewable energy facilities—including solar farms, battery storage, and process plants.
-
Perform scheduled and emergency breakdown maintenance to maximize uptime for client operations in heavy industry, mining, water, and utilities.
-
Contribute to project planning, risk assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives on-site.
-
Ensure all work complies with safety standards, site procedures, and relevant regulations.
-
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to deliver projects safely and on time.
About You
You will thrive with us if you have:

A current Australian Electrical Licence.
-
Strong experience working in industrial settings (e.g. mining, renewables, water/utilities, or large-scale manufacturing).

Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics, commissioning, and automation.
-
High standards for safety and a proven ability to identify hazards and implement controls.
-
Confidence to work independently in remote or high-risk environments, and willingness to travel as required.
Essential:

LVR/CPR certification (current)

Construction White Card
-
Manual driver's licence
-
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
Desirable (not required):

Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical

Instrumentation, Hazardous Areas, or HV Switching tickets

Confined Spaces / Working at Heights

High-Risk Work licences
