The Role
As our
Lead Veterinary Surgeon
, you will:
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based veterinary care across a range of medical and surgical cases
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of teamwork, professional growth, and clinical excellence
- Perform and oversee a variety of surgical procedures, with a particular focus on advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, including TPLOs
- Mentor and support our team of veterinarians, nurses, and support staff. This will include involvement in staff reviews
- Contribute to the ongoing development of clinical protocols and standards of care
About You
We're looking for a veterinarian who is passionate about leadership, surgery, and patient care. You will have:
- Veterinary qualification with eligibility to be registered in South Australia
- A minimum of 5 years' clinical experience
in small animal practice - Strong skills and genuine interest in
soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery - Previous
leadership and mentorship roles
are
desirable but not essential - A commitment to
evidence-based medicine
and continuous professional development - A confident communicator who values teamwork, collaboration, and positivity
