NDIS Carer within 20km radius of Carnegie Victoria

• 20km radius around Carnegie, Victoria.

• Wages are paid fortnightly and are above award + weekend Penalty Rates.
• Must have own reliable motor vehicle and Victorian driver's license.
• Must like cats
• Must have intermediate cooking and food handling skills.
• You will need to have a Current Police Clearance or be willing to undergo at the time of recruitment.
• You will need to have an NDIS Worker Check or be willing to undergo at the time of recruitment.
• No carer experience is necessary.
• You must speak & understand excellent English and be an Australian resident.
• All the training that you require will be provided.
• Bathing / Showering/ Toileting/ Dressing
• Meal Assistance
• Community Access
• Feeding Cats
• Laundry
• Vacuuming
• Washing dishes
• Able to do Manual Handling/Transfering of the client.
• If you are positive, outgoing, compassionate, responsible, and reliable, then maybe you would suit this role. Prefer a local person (Carnegie Victoria) as shifts are relatively short with the possibility of weekend getaways.
• Hours would average hours per week.
• Although this role is casual, a long-term (minimum of 12 months) commitment is required.

• We are seeking bright and motivated individuals to join our NDIS Support Workers team to provide support to one of our clients in Carnegie, Victoria. The team provides a range of services to ensure that our client has choice and control in how they live their lives within their local community. Duties could include:
• Providing personal care
• Assisting with shopping and meal preparation
• Community access

The ideal candidates will be someone who has demonstrated experience working with people with a disability, either in a professional environment or may be demonstrated through non-professional means or life experience. Individuals must have a sound understanding of disability and its effect on social relationships, independent living, daily needs, physical health, vocational and employment needs of our participants.

• Must have Cert IV in Disability and/or relevant 3 years of experience.
• Be willing to undergo a NDIS workers screen, police check, and have your CPR and first-aid certificate.
• Have your own reliable transport and a Vic driver's license.
