The Opportunity
As a Cadet, you will become an integral part of the broader team and be mentored by Partners to help you grow as a professional. This is an opportunity to build your career locally, contribute to the Griffith community, and grow in a firm that actively invests in your development.
Position Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
- Assist in the preparation Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
- Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
- Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
- Help provide an exceptional service to our clients
- Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
- Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
About You
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Accounting/Business/Commerce or equivalent course.
- Willing to work a minimum of 3 days per week throughout your studies
- Intending to pursue a Chartered Accountant qualification after graduation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients
- Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
