Make a real impact in Residential Aged Care
At MACG, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents and we know that starts with an empowered and engaged team. We're looking for a People & Culture Coordinator with recruitment and aged care experience to join our supportive People & Culture team.
About The Role
As a key member of our People and Culture team, you'll play a vital role in:
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment – advertising, shortlisting, interviews, contracts, and onboarding
- Track compliance for onboarding (police checks, vaccinations, VEVO, qualifications, references)
- Provide HR administration support, including drafting contracts, variation letters, and managing compliance registers
- Support employee experience initiatives such as service anniversaries, recognition programs, and engagement events
- Build strong working relationships with managers, payroll, and administration teams across MACG homes
- Maintain HRIS (Humanforce) records, generate recruitment and compliance reports, and contribute to continuous improvement
This role is a great fit if you enjoy variety, problem-solving, and supporting teams to deliver the best outcomes for residents and staff.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 2 years' experience in HR recruitment and/or coordination
- Experience in aged care or healthcare (essential)
- A genuine passion for people and team wellbeing
- Knowledge of end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage competing priorities
- Approachable communication style with excellent interpersonal skills
- Collaborative and proactive mindset with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
- Experience with HRIS/recruitment systems such as Humanforce (desirable)
- Understanding of employment law and HR best practices
- Commitment to confidentiality, fairness and integrity
