About the role:

The role will be responsible for leadership of Process Engineering in the Hides to Gel Section to meet Safety, GMP, GEP and cost requirements.

• Demonstrating strong and experienced understanding of Chemical Engineering fundamentals, a flexible attitude, and an innovative approach to solving problems
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders and other team members to deliver project outcomes.
• End to end management of engineering projects.
• Management of the wastewater treatment plant to ensure a reliable and cost-effective operation.
• Strength in written and verbal communication to support the production of engineering reports and presentations.

About you:

• A Chemical Engineering degree qualification as a minimum
• A minimum of 5-10 years' experience
• Technical knowledge of the chemistry of Hides to Gel and wastewater treatment plants is an advantage.
• A proven track record of managing engineering projects including developing CAPEX justifications and project feasibilities.
• Excellent communication, inter-personal and organisational skills
