The role:

Cater Care is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic chef at one of our key aged care sites in Wanneroo, a mere 20 minutes' drive from Perth.

Roster: Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing & presenting food for our residents
  • Maintaining a clean working environment
  • Ongoing menu development & refinement
  • Support bulk cooking operations
  • Prepare and present texture modified foods
  • Fast, effective service - provided with a positive attitude

Your background:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Adherence to food & general safety practices
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Valid driver's license and own car required
