Impressed is an independent record label in Sydney, Australia. We focus on delivering unique, high-end, curated vinyl experiences for vinyl customers - being passionate about the music and the artist. We work with a wide variety of local and international artists and labels.

Senior Label & Operations Manager

We're now looking for a
Senior Label & Operations Manager
to help scale our systems, lead campaigns, and keep everything running like a well-oiled machine.

What You'll Do

  • Lead release campaigns across our artist roster & label partners— from planning to rollout.

  • Oversee operations: cashflow, royalties, ARIA reporting, grants, contracts, and compliance.

  • Manage financial forecasting, growth pipelines, and reporting to leadership.

  • Oversee production and delivery of physical media — including
    vinyl manufacturing
    — ensuring timelines and budgets are met.

  • Deliver innovative customer-focused, world-leading campaigns around vinyl releases - fusing production and marketing knowledge.

  • Build and maintain systems that reduce manual work and help us scale.

  • Manage a team of three to deliver high-impact results.

  • Mentor that team and embed clear workflows, accountability, and culture.

What Success Looks Like

  • Campaigns and releases delivered seamlessly.

  • Vinyl and physical products land with fans and retail partners on time, every time.

  • Systems and automation keep things streamlined.

  • Financials, royalties, and grants are accurate, timely, and transparent.

What We're Looking For

  • 6–8+ years' experience in label management, operations, or music business leadership.

  • Deep understanding of the independent music landscape.

  • Experience in
    vinyl production
    and physical product workflows.

  • Strong financial literacy (forecasts, royalties, budgets).

  • Proven ability to implement scalable systems and workflows.

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
