Our client is a successful financial services provider with a solid reputation for consistently delivering results for its investors.

As a Risk & Compliance specialist, you will ensure operations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, while assisting with risk-related matters. Your duties will include assessing regulatory impacts, reviewing processes, and managing the development and monitoring of governance frameworks. You should be an excellent communicator with a deep interest in fund management and a proactive approach to helping the business succeed. This role will also consult with clients to enhance their risk and compliance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct AML/KYC procedures.

· Prepare Operational Due Diligence requirements.

· Develop and operationalise risk management strategies.

· Review and assess company policies and procedures.

· Coordinate risk and compliance actions with internal stakeholders.

· Maintain risk and compliance registers.

· Advise on internal control implementation.

· Stay updated with compliance regulations and attend relevant training.

· Advise on AFSL, AML/CTF, and Corporations Act requirements.

· Perform assurance testing.

· Investigate operational incidents and compliance breaches.

· Maintain oversight of Fund and Third-Party risks.

· Document committee meeting minutes.

Who We're Looking For:

We seek an individual with a minimum of 3 years of experience in risk and compliance within the financial services sector. If you are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative environment, you will excel in this role.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Law, Commerce, Business, Accounting, or equivalent.

· Interest in financial services or fund/asset management.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Analytical mindset and superb organisational abilities.

· Effective research and networking skills.

· Attention to detail.

· Willingness to learn and undertake various tasks.
