Bohlevale State School are seeking a committed Literacy Coach to continue the capability development of teachers and teacher aides to embed Reading through the Curriculum across P-6, improving English achievement. The successful applicant will work with the Leadership Team, and whole, small group and individual staff members to tailor appropriate support using a gradual release model.

is a coeducational school, located in Townsville, North Queensland. Our school has approximately 750 students enrolled from Prep to Year 6.

As a Literacy Coach You Will
- Lead and coordinate the coaching and mentoring of staff members, developing collegiality, building a learningand development culture, modelling innovative teaching styles and encouraging appropriate professionaldevelopment.
- Lead the development, implementation and review of teaching and learning strategies in targeted programs.
- Assume a lead role within the school leadership team with the development and implementation of strategies relating to targets relevant to each school location.
