About The Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologists to join our growing team. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a range of communication and swallowing disorders across different age groups, collaborating with a supportive team to deliver individualised treatment plans.

New Graduates:

Our new graduates program is designed to help you transition from student to a confident clinician. You'll be supported and inspired every step of the way. You will have a personalised program suitable to your needs including weekly 1:1 supervision, opportunities to shadow, participate in joint sessions and gradually increase your caseload.

Experienced Clinicians

We recognise the value that experienced clinicians bring — your knowledge, insight, and leadership play a vital role in shaping our team. At Aksacare, you'll have the opportunity to build a caseload that reflects your interests and strengths, with the flexibility to focus on children, adults, or a combination of both.

As a senior team member, you'll also play a key role in supervising and supporting less experienced clinicians. You'll have dedicated time for supervision and mentoring, with support from our leadership team to guide and grow others with confidence. Whether you're looking to expand your clinical skills, step into a leadership role, or simply work in a team that values your experience — we're here to support your journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for clients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties
  • Implement evidence-based therapy
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment as needed
  • Work closely with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals Participate in professional development activities to keep current with best practices and research.

About You

  • Strong work ethic and desire to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Ability to positively engage with clients and their families.

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology

  • Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
