We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join a Medirest team at Vasey RSL Brighton East, VIC. Join our team of superstars and work to make a positive impact in the lives of senior Australians.

THE POSITION

  • Provide exceptional food and beverage service with professionalism and care
  • Assist in food preparation and sandwich-making
  • Demonstrate adaptability by taking on various tasks and responsibilities as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area and with equipment
  • Varying roster with morning and afternoon shifts

THE PERSON

  • You'll take pride in offering our residents the best possible service therefore its essential you have a caring and compassionate nature
  • Have previous kitchen experience or be willing to adopt new skills required to perform the role
  • Be a team player and able to work autonomously
  • Be flexible with your availability when required
  • Friday shift availability - must be available on Fridays. Other days changeable/flexible rostering.
  • NPC: Required pre-employment checks include a National Police Check and proof of immunisation against vaccine preventable diseases
