ESM Resources is a Mobile Equipment Hire and Maintenance company dedicated to providing hire and maintenance solutions for the civil, construction and mining industries with branches located in Perth, Newman, Port Hedland and Karratha.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking to engage the services of a Storeperson to join our growing team in Perth.

This opportunity requires someone who can exemplify our brand and values.

The main duty of this role is to support the maintenance team, with parts inventory, pickup, delivery and dispatch.

Working as part of a friendly team, your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to :

  • Receive, inspect and store incoming parts, consumables and equipment.
  • Accurately record stock movements and maintain up-to-date inventory records.
  • Prepare and issue parts for workshop jobs, service vehicles and field technicians.
  • Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
  • Co-ordinate daily parts pickups and deliveries to and from suppliers, customers and work sites.
  • Ensure all parts are correctly packaged, labelled and documented for dispatch.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with road and company regulations.

Highly desirable attributes include :

  • Purchasing experience within a Workshop or Machinery Repair environment.
  • Parts knowledge / experience with Caterpillar / Komatsu / Hitachi / Dynapac / Isuzu / Hino and Mack equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills, friendly, approachable and always willing to assist both colleagues and visitors with a can do positive attitude.
  • Proactive with the ability to work without Supervision and take direction accurately.
  • Hard Working, reliable and proven work ethic.
  • Forklift licence (desired)

The role is a Perth based role in our Osborne Park Head Office, but there will be a requirement to visit ESM Workshops as and when required to assist in stock control and Customer support.
