About me & Rhonda Hemmingway Couture:

I've been in the Couture business for over 25 years and I run an award winning Couture Bridal Studio currently based in George Street.

Due to demand I'm looking to take on two experienced Seamstresses/ Dressmakers to work directly with me.

The role entails:

  • Constructing high quality Bridal and Evening gowns
  • Altering Couture Bridal gowns
  • Handling and stitching delicate fabrics (100% silk, laces and beaded fabrics)

The ideal Seamstress would have:

  • Experience sewing with fine fabrics, laces and beading
  • Experience with cutting and finishing would be an advantage.
  • Experience with bridal wear would also be an advantage
  • The ability to work independently and in collaboration with me
  • A registered ABN would be preferred
