About The Role
This role provides hands on assistance in the delivery of independent and value add assurance and advisory services that help to improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes of SG Fleet group and to achieve its business objectives.
Tasks And Responsibilities
- Conduct and assist with internal audits and reviews including risk management and control management over operations' effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
- Prepare and present workpapers compliant with IA methodology.
- Draft internal audit findings with value-adding insights, highlighting any issues, and recommendations to mitigate risk and identify cost savings.
- Support departmental planning, reporting, monitoring of business remediation and other initiatives.
- Build stakeholder relationships across SG Fleet Group, acting as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement.
- Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, business or economics
- CIA or CISA certifications (or working toward obtaining).
- Previous experience as an internal or external auditor.
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, account software and databases.
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile reports.
- High attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills - meets specific deadlines and reports regularly on progress.
- Analyses information and solves problems, demonstrating resourcefulness, perseverance, and accountability.
- Effective communicator both verbally and in writing, demonstrating good listening and probing skills.
- Familiarity with risk-based audit methodology.
- Knowledge of asset financing / fleet leasing products is desirable.
- ACL skills are desirable.
- Knowledge of ISO standard requirements (ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO14001, ISO45001) are desirable.
