Head Chef | Melbourne – North West Suburbs

TWG is searching for a passionate qualified chef to join a corporate site in Melbourne northwest suburb.

Full time, Monday to Friday, day shift role, with opportunities for growth within the TWG group.

Excellent food presentation, production skills and the ability to lead a team in a busy environment must have skills.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Day to day production of all site requirements
• Ability to manage team
• Financial responsibility for Menu costings
• Ensuring only the very highest standards of food presentation & creativity
• Ordering and replenishing stock
• Sound knowledge of Food safety and OHS

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

• A focus on providing excellent contemporary food
• Strong understanding of all aspects of menu planning disciplines
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Manage team to fulfill contract requirements
• Team spirit with bright & positive demeanour
• Impeccable grooming standards
• Strong knowledge of food handling and hygiene principles
• Computer literate
