Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrician / Crane Technician located in Hobart, TAS. The technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing cranes, troubleshooting electrical issues, performing scheduled inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Daily tasks include conducting electrical work, providing expert solutions for crane-related problems, and working closely with the engineering team to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Electricity and Electrical Work
  • Skilled in Maintenance & Repair and Troubleshooting
  • Knowledgeable in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong understanding of safety and compliance standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in crane services or a related industry is a plus
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work or engineering
