About Prag Consulting

Prag Consulting is highly regarded in the sector for the provision of high-quality behaviour support services throughout Victoria. We provide support to people with a range of presentations, and with high and complex needs. We pride ourselves on providing individualised, tailored support that promotes quality of life.

At Prag Consulting, we value our staff immensely. We are committed to ensuring all our staff are supported and provided with learning, development and growth opportunities, as well the flexibility to have the kind of work-life balance that suits them.

About the roles

Senior Associate: Our Senior Associates are highly experienced behaviour support practitioners who are qualified and registered clinicians.  The role offers diversity and flexibility, where you are free to choose your own client load, alongside leadership duties, including supervision and development of an assigned team of practitioners and contributing to other leadership activities.

The Senior Associate role is critical in ensuring the quality of our support and in maintaining our solid reputation. Ideally, you will be registered at a 'Proficient' level or above. Renumeration and other conditions are reflective of this seniority and can be negotiated based on your qualifications and experience. The role may be negotiated as a Full-Time or Part-Time role (with a minimum of 3-days per week or 20 hours per week) with above award salary + all entitlements (superannuation, annual and sick leave + additional external clinical supervision and continuing professional development), or Casual/Contract position (at least 3-days per week, or 20 hours), also with above award rates + superannuation and clinical supervision.

Associate/Advanced Associate: These roles are open to registered behaviour support practitioners (or those interested in becoming registered) from relevant allied health disciplines or from a disability or mental health background (for example, psychiatric nursing) background.

  • Positive Behaviour Support practice
  • Evidence-based and best-practice support principles
  • Relevant Standards including the NDIS Behaviour Support (and Restrictive Practices) Rules, 2018 and NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission.

What you'll need to be successful

  • Experience in behaviour assessment and intervention with individuals with disability presentations including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, mental health conditions and complex comorbidities and psychosocial presentations.
  • A willingness to learn and a commitment to providing high quality individualised support
  • Your own reliable vehicle and an Australian Drivers Licence

  • Experience in behaviour support practice

What we can offer

  • A supportive culture where you are seen and heard
  • Above award rates (based on experience and qualifications) and flexible working conditions (including work-from-home if preferred)
  • Terms of employment negotiable to suit your needs – casual, contract (on own ABN) or Full-time/Part-time
  • Career progression and training and growth opportunities (including paid supervision and learning and development)
