CMI Electrical Products is a part of the IPD Group of Companies. We are a leading manufacturer and supplier of Electrical Cable and Industrial Products to the electrical industry with significant operations nationally. CMI Electrical Products distributes to Industrial, Commercial, Wholesalers, OEM and Utilities markets.

We are hiring a proactive and reliable Store Person to join our warehouse team at Wetherill Park location. This full-time role performs warehouse tasks following CMI Electrical rules and guidelines.

About the role:

In this role, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse in processing warehouse documentation, receiving and handling goods, ensuring efficient storage and maintaining a clean, organised work environment.

  • Processing warehouse documentation including inventory forms, slips, orders, documents and requisitions.
  • Ensuring inventory accuracy and documentation integrity.
  • Receiving goods and handling stock accurately.
  • Picking, packing, and storing inventory efficiently.
  • Operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, scales, trolleys, wave pickers, etc.) safely and correctly.
  • Meeting warehouse KPIs and SLAs.
  • Keeping work areas clean and organize.
  • Maintaining IPD procedures and WHSE standards.

About you:

  • Physically fit for regular manual handling tasks
  • Preferably with experience in high-volume picking and packing
  • Current forklift license with prior operating experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and within a team
