The Opportunity:
We're looking for a strategic leader to take on the role of Head of Corporate, responsible for driving growth across our corporate portfolio and strengthening relationships with key insurance brokers. Leading a team of high-performing Product, Pricing and Distribution Managers within Group Insurance, you'll help shape our corporate distribution strategy, enhance broker engagement, and deliver outstanding client outcomes.

This position is for either Sydney or Melbourne.

To do this successfully you will:

  • Lead and inspire a multi-disciplined corporate team to achieve growth, retention, and service excellence across the portfolio.
  • Develop and execute broker engagement strategies that strengthen relationships and drive business outcomes.
  • Shape and deliver the corporate distribution strategy in alignment with broader business goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, claims, operations, and legal to ensure seamless broker and client experiences.
  • Use data and insights to monitor performance, inform decisions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Represent the corporate channel in strategic forums and initiatives.
  • Champion AIA's Risk Management framework and Operating Philosophy: Doing the Right Thing, in the Right Way, with the Right People.
     

Successful applications will have:

  • Proven experience in insurance distribution, ideally within corporate or intermediary channels.
  • Strong understanding of broker networks and commercial insurance products.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing sales or relationship teams.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
