QUALIFIED CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER REQUIRED – DUBBO

We are a cardiology practice based out of the Dubbo Medical and Allied Health Group Clinic.

We are a busy and growing clinic, currently with 6 cardiologists, with broad interests including acute, chronic and complex heart disease. We provide routine transthoracic echocardiography, as well as stress echocardiography services.

We are looking for an ambitious and committed Cardiac Sonographer to initially join our team on a part-time basis, scanning 2-3 days per week, with a potential to scan more frequently in the future.

We offer locum rates. Payment is between $ per hour.

We also provide compensation for travel and accommodation - so candidates residing outside the Dubbo area are welcome to apply.

Practice opening hours are between 8am-5pm Monday to Saturday, and working days can be negotiated.

To be considered for the role, you must have:

• Accreditation with ASAR;
• Experience performing cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) and stress echocardiography
• The ability to work well both autonomously and within a team environment;
• Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on patient-centred care.
