About the role

As a Senior Frontend Video Engineer with our partner, you'll design and develop innovative solutions to create a seamless video editing experience. Working with a talented, cross-functional team, you will focus on leveraging AI-driven features to enhance video editing tools and ensure they deliver exceptional user experiences.

What you'll do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain performant frontend code for AI-powered video editing tools.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver features that have a global impact, reaching millions of users.
  • Own the full lifecycle of code, from design to maintenance, ensuring long-term product stability and performance.
  • Develop novel solutions for video and audio composition, leveraging open-source and internal libraries.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to build and ship AI-driven features that simplify video editing.
  • Optimize applications for cross-platform compatibility, focusing on high-quality performance.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, improving the user experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest video technology, contributing innovative ideas to drive continuous improvement.
  • Share knowledge with the team, advocating for best practices in engineering and product development.

What makes you ideal:

  • Have proven experience as a frontend engineer, with strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React.
  • Have a solid understanding of video processing, including filters, effects, and dynamic compositing.
  • Are familiar with tools like GLSL, WebGL, and TypeScript, and are passionate about building cross-platform applications.
  • Bring experience in video and audio signal processing, or are excited to learn more about it.
  • Have a deep understanding of AI in the context of video editing and want to build innovative AI-driven solutions.
  • Enjoy solving complex engineering challenges and prototyping solutions to improve video editing workflows.
  • Are a strong communicator, able to collaborate with diverse teams and explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Have experience developing robust applications across multiple platforms (web, iOS, Android) and enjoy learning about new technologies.
