We have vacancies for experienced High intensity Support Workers and Enrolled Nurses on the Gold Coast.

We have 2 SIL homes on the southern Gold Coast. One in Robina and one in Burleigh Heads that we are currently looking for additional staff for. With a mix of shift times available: day, afternoon, evening as well as active and inactive overnight shifts. Whilst you are a casual employee, we do want you to commit to the same days, same hours with us, week in, week out.  Continuity of care is important to us, so it needs to be important to you

Shift Times available

Morning shift 6am – 2pm or 8am – 4pm

Afternoon shift 2pm – 10pm

Afternoon Shift with Sleepover 2pm – 10pm with sleepover till 6am

Active night shifts 10pm – 6am or 10pm – 8am

The clients in these homes are males and have a mix of cognitive and complex health related disabilities. We offer our nurses/high intensity support workers (even though you are casual) regular shifts, with regular clients so you know who you are going to see and what it is that you are going to do

We provide full training by a Registered Nurse and also offer training through our online training platform.

Key Responsibilities:

· Follow the care plans within your scope

· Undertake tasks such as PEG, IDC, SPC, pressure area care, wound care, diabetic management, seizure management and medication administration.

· Exceptional case notes and ability to diligently document

· Escalate any changes to the RN Clinical Case Manager

· Monitor stock levels and medications

· The position assists the client with the day-to-day activities in the home as well as ensuring that the home environment is maintained.

Our perfect candidate will ideally meet the following criteria:

· Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills

· Confidence in managing your time effectively, including the ability to work autonomously

· General nursing experience, post-registration / high intensity support work experience

· NDIS Working Screening Clearance & Working with Children Check (Yellow & Blue card) or willingness to obtain

· Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration

· A reliable vehicle, current Australian drivers' licence, car registration and comprehensive insurance

We pay above award rates, $46 per hour ordinary rate weekday rate, Saturday $60 per hour and Sunday $70.40 per hour.
