Job Title: Project Management Support Officer

Duration: 12 month contract

Location: Brisbane CBD

Our Client:

A leading Queensland government infrastructure organisation focused on delivering innovative road and asset management projects across the state.

The Role:

You will provide high-level project management and administrative support across a range of Continuous Improvement initiatives, helping to enhance systems, processes, and project delivery outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Program Manager in coordinating and tracking the delivery of the Continuous Improvement program of works.
  • Assist Project Managers in executing key initiatives, including the Asset Maintenance Management System review.
  • Facilitate onboarding activities such as ICT access and building security setup.
  • Prepare agendas, record meeting minutes, and monitor action items for project and governance meetings.
  • Manage procurement, invoicing, and payment processes in line with financial guidelines.

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex project environments, ideally within government or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Understanding of procurement and financial administration processes.
