We are seeking a talented and versatile individual to join our team as a Machine Learning Engineer. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in their technical abilities and is eager to contribute to a dynamic and innovative environment. The position will focus on building and deploying machine learning models in AWS and Snowflake and working on Generative AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy machine learning models, including classical models (linear regressions, tree algorithms, gradient boosting) and neural networks (NNs).
  • Fine-tune and evaluate large language models (LLMs) for various applications.
  • Engage in both model building and model evaluation to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilise cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure or GCP acceptable) and services such as SageMaker for model deployment and management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with MLOps best practices – model versioning, automated retraining and performance/drift monitoring
  • Strong experience with Python and SQL.
  • Comfortable creating a range of machine learning models and eager to learn new techniques on the job.
  • Experience with both classical ML models and neural networks is highly valued.

Cloud Expertise

  • Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based ML services and tools.

Data Tools and Platforms:

  • Hands-on experience with dbt, Snowflake, SageMaker and Bedrock, or experience with equivalent products.
  • Solid understanding of RDBMS systems and data management principles.
