HSEQ Advisor - ISO Systems & Compliance

Are you a passionate HSEQ professional with a strong understanding of ISO systems and compliance in high-risk industries? An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join a dynamic and growing team, supporting a range of construction and mechanical service projects across various phases.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dual-function position, combining Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) management with project administration and document control. You will play a key role in ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO OHS), ISO 9001 (Quality), and ISO Environmental) systems, while supporting project teams with documentation and systems performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, monitor, and continuously improve ISO Management Systems (45001, 9001, 14001)
  • Conduct internal audits, site inspections, and support incident investigations
  • Manage document control systems, ensure version control, and support procedural reviews
  • Coordinate and deliver HSEQ training, inductions, and awareness programs
  • Prepare reports, manage corrective actions, and maintain risk registers
  • Support Project Managers in project administration tasks including documentation, risk assessments, and claims preparation
  • Maintain records of licences, inductions and training
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to drive compliance and continuous improvement

What You'll Bring

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety, Quality Management, or related discipline
  • 5 years' experience in a similar role within construction, HVAC, or mechanical services
  • Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and Australian Standards
  • Experience using systems like SharePoint, Aconex, or Hammertech
