AWM Electrical & Data Suppliers is a market leader in the supply and distribution of electrical and lighting products with a national network. Our Airport West location is looking for a highly motivated, well organised full-time person to join their growing team as a storeperson / driver.

Our parent company, Metal Manufactures Limited, was established in 1916 and has become a large and diverse Australian company, of which AWM Electrical & Data Suppliers is a vital part.

As a Storeperson / Driver working for AWM Electrical & Data Suppliers, you will be mentored and trained by our experienced Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a person with the right attitude to learn everything about the electrical & data supply business and develop their own personal skills along the way in this diverse role.

The role includes:

  • Managing the loading & unloading of all incoming & outgoing goods
  • Picking and packing orders
  • Warehouse product maintenance
  • Deliveries
  • General store work including compliance to Quality Management & WHS Systems
  • Assisting our sales team with counter & phone sales where needed

We are looking for a person with:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Great customer focus along with solid customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • An enthusiastic attitude, willingness to learn & ability to work unsupervised
  • Proficient computer skills
  • High organisational and time management skills
  • Current driver's licence
  • Forklift license (not essential)
