PRIMARY DETAIL- Salary Package: (HEW 7) $111,643 - $121,045, plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading.- Appointment Type: Full-time, continuing role- Location: Macquarie University, Wallumattagal Campus at North RydeAbout the RoleReporting to the Faculty Research Manager, this position works closely with other members of the Faculty and with staff in central support units to provide timely and professional support to a range of projects and activities related to the Faculty's research.This role is responsible for managing and supporting projects related to researcher development, including undertaking background research and environmental scans, and organising the logistics of training workshops. It will provide support for broader Faculty projects and initiatives – particularly related to funding-pipeline development and faculty research infrastructure; produce high-quality content (e.g. internal publications, promotional materials, online collateral); and undertake data analysis and interpretation.Understanding current and emerging trends in researcher development, nationally and globally, and an awareness of research funding will contribute to success in this role, as will strong project management and administrative skills. This role also offers opportunities to apply stakeholder engagement, training, and advisory skills in its day-to-day activities.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have completed (at least) an undergraduate degree in a field relevant to the Faculty and have relevant work experience that has enabled you to develop an understanding of research activities and the research environment.Ideally, you will have worked in senior-level research administration roles or project roles.  You are able to apply that contextual understanding to the management and delivery of projects that will assist our Faculty's success in research.
