Engineering Technologist

Our team are seeking a Quality Control Engineer to support Projects throughout the Pilbara region. This position is based on site, 2:1 , Fly IN/OUT role and will be responsible for managing all quality and compliance processes in-line with specific quality management systems. You will lead continuous improvement of processes in a way that successfully supports the delivery of the project.

• Implement quality management plans to meet project requirements.
• Progressively compile the project manufacturers data reports (MDR) and ensure traceability is maintained throughout the project.
• Solve quality assurance, quality control (QA/QC) queries in accordance with relevant specifications, standards, management plans, procedures.
• Ongoing maintenance of quality management systems in accordance with relevant certification, standards and procedures.
• Developing ITP/ITR documentation in accordance with project specification and standards.
• Strong skillset and knowledge of CAD software.
• Leading a quality culture in collaboration with team management and engineering project leads.
• Providing advice and support for all functions to ensure ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and standards.
• Managing the conduct and reporting of internal and external audits.

As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate intermediate experience working in the construction industry, with project experience in the mining industry as advantageous. You will have demonstrable knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and compliance obligations, as well as a successful track record in in the implementation of a QMS for a similar scale construction project.

Pay: $79,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
