We are seeking a full time permanent Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join our growing Engineering team at Brisbane Airport working a 4 on, 4 off roster.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform inspection, rectification, maintenance, and certification on company and client aircraft and equipment, as per manufacturer's / company's specifications to a very high standard
• Ensuring timely and correct certification of all work carried out
• Complying with the company's Safety Management System

You must be able to demonstrate the following criteria:

• Hold a current unrestricted CASA Part 66 Licence in Category B1.
• Hold a minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience is required for this position.
• Hold a Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering- Mechanical .
• Have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills supported with the ability to assess and interpret options and develop solutions for the line environment
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate across all levels
• Possess a strong working knowledge of, and demonstrated experience in being actively involved in SMS activities (such as fatigue management, workplace inspections, reporting, etc.)
• Ability to successfully pass a Drug screening and Medical assessment (DAMP)
• Ability to obtain an ASIC
• Hold an unrestricted driving licence and have own reliable transportkl./98
• Hold or the ability to hold a current passport
• Have the ability to work shift work as required by business needs

This position is based in Brisbane with some interstate and overseas flying engineering duties required from time to time. The base salary for this position is $1 12,138 per annum, plus applicable allowances.

Please note that, the role involves responsibilities and accountabilities that may include exposure to psychosocial hazards such as shift work, irregular hours, and tight deadlines.
