Northbank Boats is a well-established family owned and operated company manufacturing high end, handcrafted fibreglass trailer boats ranging from 5m to 7.5m designed and built for fisherpeople, by fisherpeople.

A proud South Australian business sitting on 8000sqm in Lonsdale, South Australia, we have a talented and enthusiastic team spanning from our next generation apprentices through to highly experienced laminators and boatbuilders.

The team pride themselves on building high quality boats for our loyal and growing customer base available through our nation wide dealer network.

We are looking to grow our team and would like to hear from experienced tradespeople with a minimum 2-3 years of lamination, gelcoat and chopper gun experience.

Essential skills:

• Fibreglass laminating techniques
• Gelcoat application and finishing
• Chopper gun operation
• Quality control and defect identification
• Safe handling of resins and chemicals

Qualifications:

• Completed apprenticeship in fibreglass laminating, boat building (shipwright), or related trade is preferred
• Forklift licence advantageous

Physical requirements:

• Ability to work in confined spaces and various positions
• Comfortable working with chemicals and strong odours
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to lift materials up to 20kg
