Event Supervisor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic & experienced Event Staff Member to join our Melbourne team at Stone & Chalk.
This position is ideal for someone looking for sporadic work, with shifts that vary depending on event schedules. Whether you're looking to work once a week, once a month, or somewhere in between, you'll have the flexibility to manage your hours while taking ownership of exciting events.
As an Event Staff Member, you'll manage every stage of event execution—from setup to troubleshooting & pack-down. This role demands someone who thrives on initiative & works well autonomously, ensuring the highest standards of quality & efficiency are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee setup, pack down & technical aspects for a range of events, ensuring smooth execution at every stage.

Manage AV setups, troubleshoot issues, & ensure a high standard of technical quality.

Coordinate food & beverage service to meet event requirements.

Ensure compliance with company policies, insurance, legal, health, & safety obligations.
-
Provide expert advice, support, & practical solutions to clients, ensuring satisfaction throughout.

Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail & maintain high standards of presentation.

Take full responsibility for end-to-end client management during the execution of each function.
