Your opportunity

Novafast has now an exciting, full-time opportunity for an experienced HSE Coordinator to join their team in Kilkenny, SA. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Coordinator to lead and strengthen our organization's safety culture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective QHSE policies and programs that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a safe and sustainable work environment. This role requires a proactive leader with strong technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in driving continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing effective leadership and management of the QHSE standards, to ensure workshops and projects are successfully delivered in a safe way.\
  • Ensure positive QHSE activities, observations and inspections to ensure the highest level of HSE culture
  • Provide direction, guidance and support to workshop and Project teams members to implement QHSE plans and documentation with strong focus on Safety.
  • Maintain our QHSE integrated management system. (accredited to ISO 9001; 14001; 45001standards)
  • Conduct internal audits, investigations and risk assessments to measure success and promote action as per our QHSEMS
  • Maintain, review and update company policies, procedures and forms in line with legislations, regulations, and codes of practice with respect to services our business delivery
  • Participate in regular HSE inspections and Injury / Incident investigations and maintain a healthy and safe work environment
  • Training of personnel on QHSE policies and procedures in place
  • Keep our compliance register up to date. (Legislation and regulations)
  • Setting clear targets to demonstrate action regarding non-conformance, incidents and injuries, complaints and compliments, suggestions and observations.
  • Communicate weekly, monthly and quarterly on QHSE reports to the business
  • Ensure Environmental controls are suitable and implemented, monitored and reviewed.

Who is Novafast Looking For?

  • Degree Engineering (or related)
  • 4+ years' experience in production environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational and leadership skills.
