We are seeking a motivated M&A Analyst to join a leading organisation in the industrial sector. This temporary role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial analysis and strategic decision-making as the company continues to grow both organically and through acquisition.

Description

The M&A Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modelling for potential mergers and acquisitions.
  • Support due diligence processes and provide detailed reports on findings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess strategic opportunities.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of transaction documents and agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial data and project progress.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.

Profile

A successful M&A Analyst should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the retail industry is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as Excel and financial analysis tools.
