About the role

Are you ready to take the lead in mobile maintenance planning and make a real impact underground?

We are on the hunt for a
Planner Mobile Maintenance
to join our dynamic team, reporting to the Planning & Reliability Superintendent. In this pivotal role, you will shape the long-term strategy for underground machinery, coordinating capital projects, midlife rebuilds, and warranty repairs to keep our fleet running at peak performance.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, including OEMs, to forecast usage, schedule maintenance, and optimise resources. This role offers an opportunity to influence strategic planning while remaining hands-on in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

In a typical day you will:

• Develop and manage long-term maintenance strategies and capital projects.
• Coordinate with external contractors and OEMs for off-site rebuilds.
• Monitor costs, prepare budgets, and maintain planning tools and spreadsheets.
• Ensure parts and resources are available to meet scheduled maintenance timelines.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.

This is a residential position based in Kalgoorlie on a 4/3 roster, 12-hour day (relocation support within Australia to Kalgoorlie will be provided).

About you

You are an initiative-taking and detail-oriented maintenance professional with a strong background in mobile equipment planning, known for delivering efficient solutions and ensuring operational reliability. You thrive in challenging environments where strategic thinking, technical coordination, and stakeholder engagement are essential. With a solid understanding of maintenance workflows and a passion for continuous improvement, you are ready to take ownership of long-term planning and make a meaningful impact on operational performance.

We are looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a collaborative mindset. Your ability to build strong relationships internally and externally alongside your analytical skills, problem-solving approach, and the below experience and skills will make you a true asset

• Previous experience in the mining industry and a trade qualification (highly desirable)
• Minimum of 2 years of planning experience
• Proven proficiency in Maintenance / Work Management Planning
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Pronto
• Understanding of budget processes (highly desirable)
