Based on site, you'll be a key part of our supportive, close-knit team, playing a hands-on role in delivering a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environment for our residents.

In this role, you'll handle a variety of tasks across both interior and exterior areas, including immediate repairs, scheduled maintenance, and statutory compliance works. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, you'll gain valuable experience and mentoring across all aspects of facilities management.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues in line with policies, codes, and safety standards.

  • Inspect and repair vacant units to prepare for new resident move-ins.

  • Maintain the community's cleanliness and appearance to reflect Greystar's high standards.

  • Oversee contractors and vendors to ensure work is completed to quality and compliance requirements.

About you:

You bring hands-on experience in building maintenance or related trades, ideally within residential or accommodation settings. A background in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical systems is highly valued. You're physically capable of meeting the demands of the role, and you have a strong understanding of workplace safety protocols.

Confident with basic technology and systems, you're also known for your reliable, team-oriented approach and your friendly, professional manner when engaging with residents and colleagues alike.

To be successful, you'll also need:

  • The ability to obtain a favourable National Criminal History Check and a Working with Children Check

  • Solid computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office and maintenance databases

Greystar is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion. By coming to work for us, you'll be part of an organisation that encourages diversity, supports charities and environmental initiatives.

We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, and people of all backgrounds to apply. If you have any support or access requirements, we encourage you to advise us at time of application. Your personal information will be kept confidential in compliance with relevant privacy legislation.
