About the opportunity

• Research evidence based practice and implement into current practice.

• Identify and prioritise the professional development needs of staff.

• Develop, implement and evaluate learning activities across the organization in collaboration with the Quality Manager and relevant managers.

• Implement, facilitate and evaluate effective clinical orientation programs for clinical staff new to the environment.

• Develop and implement, monitor clinical competencies.

To be considered for this position you will need to meet the following criteria:

• Qualified Registered Nurse with current APHRA registration

• Post graduate qualifications in education & training or working towards

• Previous experience in clinical education

• Knowledge of contemporary nursing and evidence based practice

• Knowledge and experience in leading and managing change

• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.

• Understanding of Subacute educational requirements.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
