We're Hiring a Landscape Supervisor
Wage: $35-$40 per hour

Desert Flower Landscaping is an award-winning team, recently taking out three awards at the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show. We transform ordinary spaces into extraordinary landscapes, with a reputation for quality, creativity, and sustainability. We're now looking for an exceptional Landscape Construction Supervisor to lead our high-end residential projects across Adelaide and the Hills.

• Client Relations: Contribute to a positive client experience by delivering work that meets the design brief and exceeds expectations.

• Listening to Instructions & Problem Solving: Take direction from the supervisor, resolving minor issues autonomously when possible.

• Workmanship: Complete tasks with precision and high attention to detail, ensuring work meets Desert Flower Landscaping's premium standards.

• Punctuality: Arrive on-site on time and complete tasks within the assigned schedule.

• Communication: Communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues to ensure tasks are aligned with the overall project plan.

• Safety: Follow safety guidelines, wear protective gear, use equipment responsibly, and report any hazards to the supervisor.

Your Role:

• Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, meeting our high standards of quality.

• Review job sheets and designs, ensuring adherence to specifications and client preferences.

• Communicating with designers and sub-contractors to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Oversee and participate in all hardscaping and softscaping projects.

• Carry out landscape construction tasks such as planting, paving, and building structures.

• Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently.

• Maintain the quality and safety of on-site work.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in landscaping is essential, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience.

• Proven leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

• Possess excellent physical fitness and energy levels, enabling you to handle the demands of outdoor landscaping work.

• Display quick thinking and strong organisational skills.

• Exhibit the ability to plan ahead and efficiently manage the ordering of materials and resources in advance.

• Have a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring precision and excellence.
