An exciting opportunity awaits a highly skilled and passionate Full-Time Waiter/Waitress to join the dedicated front-of-house team at Centonove, a highly acclaimed, multi-Chef Hat awarded restaurant located in the heart of Kew.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide impeccable, personalized, and professional table service to all guests in line with Chef Hat standards.
• Demonstrate comprehensive, expert knowledge of the menu, wine list, and beverage offerings, including preparation methods, ingredients, and suggestive pairings.
• Assist the Sommelier and management team with maintaining the cellar and beverage program.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other service personnel to ensure seamless and efficient service flow.
• Process orders and transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation in the dining areas.

What We're Looking For (Essential Skills & Experience)

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a fine-dining or Chef Hat/Michelin-starred establishment is mandatory.
• Exceptional wine, spirit, and beverage knowledge is essential (WSET qualifications or equivalent are highly regarded).
• A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
• Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanour.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations.
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-volume, dynamic service environment.
• Availability to work a flexible, full-time roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
